We’re happy to report that our Thinking Pirates’ Strategy game, Raft & Scupper, is now Recommended for Play by Mensa. The wonderful thing about Raft & Scupper is that complex strategies emerge from quite simple rules – so those of us who don’t make the grade for Mensa still enjoy the game. We find the challenge of the game is as much emotional as cerebral – it’s too easy to get so absorbed by your own dastardly plan for domination that you fail to notice that you are inadvertently helping your opponent. The game teaches you to constantly look at things from your opponent’s perspective, which is a worthwhile life lesson.
